Phase Hunter

You've been caught.

They got you. You don't know who they are, or what they want with you. But they finally have you. Took you into the depths of some underground prison-complex-thing, and shoved you in a cell without a lock. There is no escape.

... Well, that's a lie. You have some idea what they want. It probably has to do something with your innate ability to violate the laws of physical reality by phasing  yourself and sometimes other things into another dimension(?), or something like that. It's also a lie that there's no escape. Yes there is, and this ability is it. It's clear that "they" don't understand it much, because they thought layers upon layers of reinforced walls, doors and patrolling bots would be enough to trap you. It's a little cute.

Probably best if you don't wait around for their bosses to come around just so you can prove them wrong in real time though. They've just left you alone, meaning it's time to leave. You really don't wanna miss dinner.

Details:

Phase Hunter is a topdown, 2D stealth game about escaping a complex. You have no weapons, nor any will become available to you. There's only you and your inter-dimensional ability. Weave in-and-out of physical reality and the Space Between, and temporarily banish obstacles to who-knows-where as you make your way out. Be careful though. You've never had to abuse your power like this before, and you have no idea what that'll bring down on you as you progress.

Right now it's more of an Early Beta, proof of concept game made for a game design course. There's 3 level only so far. But if people like it and//or I enjoy making it enough, I'll expand the game, the lore, add dialogue and all sorts of fun stuff.

Also yes, getting stuck on walls is a feature (most of the time >_>).
